Stealth B 52 - The Stealth B-52 Bomber Electric Bike is the most powerful and fastest series electric bike we've ever seen, with 6,200 watts of power on tap and a top speed of over 50 mph. It is so exciting to drive and so much fun too.
Stealth is known for high-powered electric bikes that blur the line between an electric motorcycle and an electric bicycle. The B-52 is no exception and feels like an amalgamation of the best of both worlds. It quietly reaches a top speed of over 50 mph in seconds and tears up the steepest hills we could easily find. It also comes with a battery so big it's almost ridiculous, a great braking system, a full-suspension setup that can take a serious beating on rough trails, and some tempting upgrade options for those with the middle name Danger. Hit it, awesome beeps. We're in for a wild ride.

The Stealth B-52 Bomber Electric Bike features a monstrous rear-facing hub motor that can deliver 3,000 watts of power continuously and can ramp up to 6,200 watts in short bursts. While we couldn't find the torque for this engine, we can attest to its credentials. It revs from a standstill or at 30 mph with a quick twist of the throttle. However, since the engine is mounted on the rear wheel, it carries weight without suspension, which means that the engine itself receives more vibration and shock than a mid-wheel drive engine. It also means that the rear suspension has to work overtime to compensate for the extra weight on the rear wheel, which puts more wear and tear on the rear suspension than a mid-drive engine. Finally, having a motor of this weight in the rear wheel significantly changes the driving dynamics. The rear end is still easy to rock like a regular electric mountain bike, but kicking back and forth is more difficult and probably takes some getting used to.

The Stealth B-52 Bomber electric bike has a top speed of 50 mph, which can be reached with the throttle, making it a Class 4 electric bike. Class 4 e-bikes are illegal in many areas, including most public roads, so ride this thing around town at your own risk. There's an option to go into Eco mode, which drops top speed to about 20 mph and maximum power output to 1,000 watts, which would make the Stealth B-52 Bomber a Class 2 electric bike. D' This could make driving legal in more areas, although it would still be up to local law enforcement to interpret the law here.
Top speed, maximum power output and many other variables can be adjusted on the screen. It goes up to 99 mph, but we couldn't get it past 40 mph simply because we ran off the track. Still, he felt the engine had more to offer.
The Stealth B-52 Bomber electric bike runs on a 72-volt system and has a massive 2,000 watt-hour battery, about four times the power of the average electric bike. The B-52 Stealth Bomber has an estimated maximum range of about 60 miles, which could theoretically be achieved if the rider stays at a slower speed on flat, paved roads. However, like all electric vehicles, there are some factors that greatly affect the actual range you can expect. For those who prefer to hit the trails at a tight pace, riding every hill they find, expect around 30 miles. This is the low end of the range in our opinion.
The battery itself sits in a huge vacuum inside the frame and is completely sealed, making it waterproof. The battery is accessed by removing the side panels and can be switched off after about five minutes if you plan to ride all day. While the battery is technically hot-swappable, it doesn't slide off the frame as easily as some e-bikes, which can be a problem for those who like to charge and store batteries separately from their bikes. Speaking of chargers, the Stealth offers an eight-amp charger that can fully charge the battery in just a few hours. Pretty impressive.

The Bomber Stealth B-52 electric bike does not have pedal assist, instead selecting only the throttle. At first glance, this seems to be a mistake. Why don't any e-bikes have pedal assist? However, after nearly 100 miles on this bike, it's clear why Stealth chose not to use pedal assist: it's dangerous. The engine is too powerful and the pedal assist sensors aren't accurate enough to reliably get the exact boost you need and this can (and almost certainly will) lead to an accident. Too much power if you're not ready for it. to this. On the other hand, using the throttle to set speed gives the rider much more control, especially since the throttle is so precise, allowing the rider to almost dial in the desired speed with fine wrist adjustments. There is a small dead zone in the throttle before you turn it on, which again seemed like a miss on the first ride, but the more miles we put on the Stealth B-52 Bomber, the more we appreciated the small dead zone. For those who don't want the dead zone, it may be possible to override it somewhere in the settings, but we honestly can't say for sure.
The Stealth B-52 Bomber electric bike has an LCD screen mounted on the top of the frame. The display is easy to read in direct sunlight and has almost all the electrical information you need, including basic information like speed, tripometer and battery level, as well as cool data like efficiency, temperature motor, temperature control, current voltage, watt hours consumed, watt hours regenerated and much more. From the screen settings, it is also possible to fine-tune the performance of the Stealth B-52 Bomber, including setting the top speed and maximum power output. While we like how well the display is integrated into the frame, our only complaint is that its location can make it dangerous to take your eyes off the track and look at it while driving at high speeds.
The Stealth B-52 Bomber Electric Bike is available in one frame size and has a variety of color options to choose from when ordering. The frame itself is made from aircraft-grade Chromolly alloy, which makes for an extremely durable frame and helps keep weight down. But don't let that claim put you off, because the B-52 Stealth Bomber is no light electric bike. In fact, this monster of a machine weighs a hefty 112 pounds.
One of the most interesting things about the B-52 Stealth Bomber is its weight. Weighing in at 112 pounds, it feels somewhere between an electric dirt bike and an electric bike. The dynamics of the trip are of course familiar, but also quite different. The B-52 Stealth Bomber can still be hit, but it's certainly not as nimble as its lighter counterparts.

The Stealth B-52 Bomber electric bike features DNM USD-8 air suspension forks with 200mm of travel and full adjustability. DVO Emerald forks are also an option, consisting of carbon, twin-crown inverted forks with 200mm of travel and full adjustability. We tested the previous version of the updated forks in DNM Grooves, which performed very well. We think the Emerald forks work the same way, although we can't say for sure since we haven't been able to test them. The question, however, is whether the upgraded forks are necessary. Yes, they're inverted so the entire fork is suspended by the suspension, and yes, they offer an unbeatable ride, but unless you're going to tackle some truly terrible trails, regular forks are fine for you.
The Bomber Stealth B-52 electric bike also features DNM rear air suspension with 250mm of travel. This suspension is also fully adjustable and does its job very well. Overall, the entire suspension setup provides a nice ride even at top speed and is capable of handling everything we threw at it. However, due to the weight of the Bomber Stealth B-52, we recommend steering away from full downhills until you get used to the different driving dynamics.
The Stealth B-52 Bomber electric bike uses a 9-speed sequential Vboxx transmission. The Vboxx sits on the bottom of the bike right where the hips are, helping to keep the center of gravity low, but also leaving it vulnerable to impact. however,
